The City of Red Deer (the “City”) invites prospective respondents to submit ­­­­­information for General Contractor pre-qualification for the construction of a new Residuals Management Facility at the City of Red Deer Water Treatment Plant.

Due to the project’s complexity and impact to plant operations, General Contractors interested in submitting a bid for this project must be pre-qualified by the City.

The purpose of this RFQL process is to prequalify a minimum of three (3) General Contractors for eligibility to participate in an invitational second-stage competitive process, and this RFQL process is not intended to result in any agreement between the City and any respondent. While the City intends to conduct an invitational second-stage competitive process for the procurement of the Deliverables, it is under no obligation to do so and the City may, in its sole and absolute discretion, choose not to proceed with a second-stage competitive process or cancel this RFQL for the procurement of the Deliverables.
