The City invites interested parties (“Respondents”) to submit a response for the provision of property available for Lease Space for a Temporary Care Facility (Emergency Shelter) in Red Deer.  We are currently looking for an annual lease with the option to extend or an additional year.

Requested Criteria is as follows:

• Size minimum of 10,000 sq ft building space
• Amenities - washrooms, kitchen, laundry, storage area, outdoor area
  • Preferred to have all, but open to discussions if any of the above aren't available
• Zoning - discretionary use preferred
  • Temporary Care is discretionary with zoning: R2, R3, C1, C1A, PS
• Costs - $10/sq. ft Net Lease Rate
  • Open to offers
• Timing - available September 1, 2021 for operational start October 1, 2021
