This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City to submit non-binding proposals for the provision of ONE (1) NEW CURRENT YEAR FULL SIZE SUV as set out in the RFP.  This unit is for Emergency Services Platoon Chief and may accompany other apparatus to a scene. For this reason it should be capable of driving up over 8” (20 cm) high concrete road curbs. The unit may also be required to drive off-road and into ditches so it must be stable and not roll over during these operations. The cargo area is intended to act as a mobile office with storage drawers, and house SCBA bottles, Traffic Cones, Fire Extinguisher, and miscellaneous items that may be required on the scene.
