The City of Red Deer (the “City”) invites interested Vendors (respondents) to submit a quotation for the Roads In Need – 2026 program. 

The City implements a comprehensive three-year cycle pavement management program to evaluate asphalt streets based on ride comfort, visual condition, and structural adequacy. This proactive approach identifies poorly rated streets for inclusion in the ongoing Roads In Need program. Many of these roadways have reached the end of their service lives, are structurally inadequate for current traffic volumes, and are susceptible to damage from frost and water, necessitating rehabilitation.

The scope of rehabilitation varies, ranging from pavement strengthening to full reconstruction. Bennett Street has been identified as having reached the end of its service life and needs rehabilitation.
